I live on a small-holding in Bish Mill with my wife and step-daughter. I am committed to environmental causes and work throughout the South-West installing solar panels and domestic wind turbines
I was a founder of Trans-Send, the North Devon based community enterprise set up to promote renewable energy and sustainable living.
I believe that the way we generate and use energy is both the major contributor to Global Warming and within our power to change.
By developing household and village-based energy generation systems, we can significantly reduce the damage being done to our environment and help secure a safe future for our children.
By supporting public transport and creating safe routes for walkers and cyclists, we can reduce dependency on our cars and the increasingly unstable supply of petrol.
By shopping locally and using farm shops and Farmer’s Markets, we can reduce the environmental cost of food distribution.

The Green Party are fielding over 1,400 local candidates all across England in this May's local elections. We currently have 93 councillors at District level or above, and expect to gain many more seats this year.
