near Chulmleigh. For much of the last ten years I have been closely involved
with the community through our local schools and events.
Likes: surfing,
camping, all ball sports, having fun with the children.
Dislikes:
war, human suffering, environmental destruction, bigotry, the BNP.
Education: Agricultural college in Devon, BSc. Hons. degree in Rural
Development, University of East Anglia. Employment: cook, farm labourer,
postman, conservation worker, bartender, night club manager, ship’s
mate on a square rigger, builder, timber merchant, researcher, farmer.

themselves better, in a political system dominated by urban interests.
My aim, if elected, would be to force planners to address the prospect
of climate change by promoting local energy saving projects; and by supporting
renewable energy schemes, especially those owned and developed within
the local community.
