Rosemary Brian has lived in Cross, Croyde for twelve vears. She
worked for a local housing association, managing estates in Barnstaple,
Tiverton and Torrington. She has served as a Parish Councillor on Georgeham
P.C. since 2003. Her ambition for the area is to help develop it as a
low carbon, sustainable community.
Mike Harrison
Mike Harrison makes maps for walking and cycling. For many years
he was a lecturer, most recently at North Devon College. He is
an outdoor person: researching for maps, exploring mountains and coasts
or approaching food self-sufficiency by growing vegetables. For
local transport he walks or cycles, getting there and enjoying the journey. He
lives in Croyde in the house his great-grandmother bought in 1901 and
has done what he can to keep Croyde’s history. On Georgeham
Parish Council he deals with paths and environmental matters and has
been active with playgrounds and road safety.
The Green Party are fielding over 1,400 local candidates all across
England in this May's local elections. We currently have 93 councillors
at District level or above, and expect to gain many more seats this year.
