I have lived in Devon all of my life, I now live with my partner and our four young children.
I have been self-employed for most of my working life, presently I run two small local businesses. I am also employed part-time at the North Devon College as a workshop instructor working with children and young people.
Our world today is facing real ecological challenges caused, on the whole, by short sighted human behaviour. I believe that by acting now we can work towards improving the future for our children and our planet.
I have, like many people, become disillusioned by the so called "green" policies of our leading political parties. I believe only the Green Party tackles the issue of Climate Change with any real commitment and integrity.
The Green Party are fielding over 1,400 local candidates all across England in this May's local elections. We currently have 93 councillors at District level or above, and expect to gain many more seats this year.
